Our Founder
Kelvin M. York Jr. is the Founder of Goldenstate Wealth Management, established in 2025 to provide clients with personalized investment advisory services, portfolio management, and financial guidance.
Kelvin’s background is rooted in the physical oil and gas markets, where he has spent 14 years in commercial, operational, and analytical roles. His experience includes physical commodity market exposure, measurement review, commercial loss investigations, claims support, technical analysis, and operational coordination. That background has shaped a disciplined, risk-aware approach to evaluating markets, managing uncertainty, and making informed decisions.
As Managing Member, President, and Chief Compliance Officer, Kelvin oversees Goldenstate’s advisory process, investment framework, client service model, and compliance responsibilities. He has passed the Series 65 examination and earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
